A youth standout, and another Fargo qualifier
At the 2022 Headlocks on the Hudson, on June 8th in Troy, NY, there were 2 NYC wrestlers that made some noise. The first of those being youth wrestler, and Elite Wrestling Academy member, Nicholas Raptis.
Nicky had a very impressive tournament, going 4-1 on the day to take second. Nicky has consistently been getting good results from his tournaments, the future looks bright for Raptis as he climbs the ranks.
Now here we are with Leo Tansey. Wrestling in the last Fargo qualifier, Tansey went 4-0 in Freestyle, thus qualifying him for Fargo. He now joins his brother Sean and teammate James Carlock, wrestling both styles at Fargo this July. Nyc keeps building and building, toward July.
